๐ŸŒฟ Ikigai - reason for being๐ŸŒธ

Kabhi socha hai… ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”
chhoti chhoti cheezein aapko khush karti thi,
woh aaj kahaan kho gayi ?

Hi, I’m Pranjali.
And lately, I’ve been trying to understand what really gives life meaning—beyond just existing and following the usual path.

Growing Up & Sacrifices ๐ŸŒฑ
Hum life mein jaise jaise grow karte hain, waise hi waise apni bahut saari cheezein sacrifice karne lag jaate hain. Chhoti cheezein samajh lekin kabhi kabhi hum yeh bhool jaate hain ki wahi chhoti chhoti cheezein humein khushiyan deti thi.

Maturity or Losing Individuality? ๐ŸŽญ

Yeh grown-up transition, as per society, is called maturity. But in this process of becoming mature and the ideal one, we end up sacrificing our own individuality ๐Ÿ’”
We become so much involved in this world that we sometimes, or even most of the time, forget ourselves due to being busy in fulfilling our roles with others in this life .๐Ÿ”„

Society & Roles ๐Ÿก

When we look around ourselves, what we see is society—men sacrificing their comfort to earn a livelihood ๐Ÿ’ผ, whereas females, on the other side, sacrificing their needs and wants for their children and family ๐Ÿ‘ฉ‍๐Ÿ‘ง‍๐Ÿ‘ฆ
We grow up in such a way, being an ideal brother, sister, and more ๐Ÿค
In this process, we forget our own individuality.๐Ÿง

Where It Started ๐Ÿ“œ
It started from the later Vedic period, when individual life changed from being individual life to societal norms—jahaan dheere dheere hum apni marzi se zyada, samaj ke hisaab se jeene lage.

Present Scenario ๐ŸŒ
Aaj bhi hum wahi kar rahe hain—bas samaj ki jagah alag cheezein aa gayi hain.
Kabhi expectations, kabhi race, aur kabhi bas bina soche samjhe chalna.

Ikigai – Reason for Being ๐ŸŒธ
Wahi par ek Japanese concept “Ikigai”, jiski meaning “reason for being” comes into play, Yeh concept kehta hai:
Everyone has a reason to live ๐ŸŒฟ
It could be anything like animals ๐Ÿพ, hobbies ๐ŸŽจ, habits ๐Ÿงฉ, family ๐Ÿ‘จ‍๐Ÿ‘ฉ‍๐Ÿ‘ง, etc.

What Ikigai Says ๐ŸŒผ
Ikigai means reason for being
Do what you love ❤️,
what makes you happy ๐Ÿ˜Š, etc.
Because if you're unhappy, you can't give happiness to others ๐Ÿ’ซ
Taking care of our own selves is vital before heeding others’ needs ๐Ÿง˜‍♀️
Ikigai says do anything and everything, but be happy with those things completely.
